This week's spotlight is on Daniel Alardo.
Daniel Alardo is our featured Barista Spotlight this week, and you can see why when you meet him. Daniel keeps an upbeat attitude, making him truly a pleasure to work with, and he helps make the experience at our University store all the greater. Although he only joined us recently with very little coffee experience, Daniel is a quick study and has proven himself to be an invaluable team member and Barista.
After spending most of his life in Port St. Lucie, Daniel moved to Orlando to attend UCF and join its film program. He hopes to work in cinematography one day, but he also entertains the idea of owning his own coffee shop in his hometown of Port St. Lucie or Yonkers, where his family moved after living in the Dominican Republic. Daniel loves learning more about coffee. Right now, he's practicing his latte art and is attempting the feat of pouring two swans in a single cup. He is currently a fan of our pumpkin puree and likes to drink any beverage he makes with cinnamon.
Having a knowledgeable and capable team is essential to Foxtail's success. Daniel is a great example. His kindness and sincerity shine through in all that he does, and he is clearly capable of pursuing his dreams. We are very grateful for and proud of our team members like Daniel, and we are excited to see what the future holds for him.
